The Restaurant Rostei was founded in 1991 as a family-run business. The building dates back to 1849, and the terrace is shaded by a beautiful Glycine tree which is two centuries old.
The Restaurant’s cuisine is a fusion of traditional and innovative creations by chef Josep Maria Esteban. The dessert specialties, among others, are a popular example of this fusion.
The restaurant menu changes seasonally and includes a selected variety of delicacies from the sea as well as the countryside.
It’s been more than twenty years that we have specialized our cuisine on fresh fish and seafood from the Costa Brava coast, with a wide selection of starters adapted to each season and an extensive menu of homemade desserts.
Every Friday, chef Josep Maria Esteban prepares new seasonal creations based on seasonal ingredients. Each week the menu offers new culinary surprises.
On weekends -except for the summer season- the regular menu is complemented with other dishes, such as rice casserole, lobster risotto and the traditional fideuà.
